About Me

I’m Felicity, otherwise known as Fay (my mum always wanted to call me Felicity, but was ‘over-ruled’).  However when you actually see the meaning of Fay (not of this planet), it was perfect, I’ve never been one to be ‘normal’.  I am a mum of 3 boys.  Henry (the ‘geek’), Fred (the ‘jock’) and Samuel (the ‘third child’!).  And whilst they permanently drive me nuts, they are also the best thing to have ever happened to me.  So this is all for their well-being.

I live in a beautiful village just outside York in the North East of England.  Originally from Scotland I moved to London in my early 20’s.  I met my husband in the early noughties, and moved to York a year or so after.  The rest they say is history…

I am allergic to most antibiotics, was born with a hole in my heart and suffer from PTSD (I’m currently undergoing EMDR Therapy).  Wearing my heart on my sleeve, I constantly worry about what other people think of me/my kids/my parenting style.  Bullied relentlessly through my junior years at school, I champion well-being & mental health awareness.  I believe in being open and honest about everything in my life in order to help others.

I have two passions in life: kids and mental health awareness.  I aim to combine the two and help children with their well-being by raising mental health awareness.  Our children are being faced with an ever changing world and I want to give them the tools to approach with confidence and strength and a huge part of that is looking after their well-being.
